EODD System of Weight Loss, What is it?
The EODD system of weight loss was introduced by Jon Benson in October of 2008 and has since shot to the top of the sales chart. What is the reason for this meteoric rise?
What is the EODD system of weight loss?
EODD stands for the Every Other Day Diet™ by Jon Benson and it is a calorie shifting weight loss system that relies on varying the amount of calories a dieter consumes. This is done to discourage the body from adjusting to a constant daily calorie intake and thus encourage steady weight loss rather than having the weight loss stall.
What’s new and what’s old?
Even though the EODD system of weight loss is relatively new, calorie shifting isn’t. Calorie shifting is a tried and true way to lose weight, not the only way, but a viable way. The EODD system of weight loss puts a new twist on the old calorie shifting, buy demanding that the high calorie days are filled with foods you choose and love.
Eat pizza and lose weight?
As weird as it may sound, on the EODD system that is exactly what you do, well, not necessarily pizza but any food that you love. Of course this doesn’t happen every day, only on the high calorie days. The low calorie days are usually meals of lean protein foods.
Different levels to the EODD system.
There are several different levels of calorie shifting with the EODD system. On the highest level weight loss of up to 21 pounds in 21 days has been reported, but you can bet that you will be eating a lot less pizza at that level. The EODD levels allows a dieter to select the intensity at which they would like to lose weight.
Food guilt and the EODD system
The EODD system claims to cure bad relationships with food. In reality the EODD system allows you to eat your favorite food guilt free if you follow the EODD system since it is all part of the calorie shifting diet plan. As to whether it will cure all eating disorders is doubtful, but there is some truth to the claim.
Does the EODD system work.
Yes, it works as well as any calorie shifting diet and because you get to eat your favorite foods on high calorie days, it is much easier to stick with than most diets. Another benefit to the EODD system is the ability to schedule your high calorie days on holidays and special occasions, that way you won’t have to feel like a social pariah when you are dieting.
EODD system Recommended
I have used the EODD system and can highly recommend it to anyone seriously committed to losing weight and willing to learn a new way to accommodate the foods they love. If you use the techniques of the EODD system you could maintain your proper weight for the rest of your life.
